from now on during your physicals, you should be getting a pap smear done every year. your general doctor or nurse practitioner will usually do this. they will usually screen you for all the std's. you don't have to see a gyno to get this done. if you're actually having girly problems, then schedule an appointment with a gyno.

You should just make the appointment when you can. If it makes it any easier, I am 24 and been sexually active and am just now going for a physical. I am a bad example so be the good one lol and go to one when you have the time. There is no preset time to go after having sex.
First of all, be safe, use condoms, go see a gyno ASAP and they'll check you out and give you good advice you can use for the rest of your life in ways to have fun and play safe! Do be wary of oral as you can get STD's this way as well.
