Does you're period stop when you get into water?

when i'm swimming my period doesn't run.it kind of stops. is this normal? andDoes you're period stop when you get into water?
YOUR PERIOD DOES NOT STOP IN WATER! It is temporarily held in check by water pressure BUT if you cough or sneeze or exert any opposite presure you will bleed like normal into the water and EVERYONE will see your blood bloom!
Use a tampon when swimming.
Menstruation isn't washed away either - it is ONLY held in check by water pressure...where do people get their info anyway?!?!
Yes it is perfectly normal! Mine does that too. Im not exactly sure why but periods do stop temporarily while in water. Just when you get out the flow begins to start. So nothing to worry about. :)
yep
This doesnt happen to everyone, but for some it does (myself included). Its perfectly normal, consider it a blessing :)
It actualy does not stop. What is does is flush you out. The ministration process is actually very slow. If you get all washed out in there it will take a bit for the blood to show.
No, it does not stop, it is just buoyancy (a form of upwards force) that keeps the blood from leaking out. But remember, one sneeze and the surprise is out!
Yes thats normal, but your period doesn't actually *stop* it's just that your body is totally sumerged into the water, it kind of cleans you out, so nothing comes out but it happens to all of us!
