Female Hips/Pelvis during Puberty?

Just a question I'm curious about. When they say that girls' hips/pelvis 'widen' during puberty, do they actually mean the bones move apart so there is a bigger space between them, or just that the bones grow bigger in size? I've never really been sure.
TIA : )Female Hips/Pelvis during Puberty?
they actually move apart =this is the way a womans body prepares itself to give birth and it is also why women are curvy
Does it really matter. Look it up on Yahoo.
while the bones continue to grow they move apart at the pelvis. Male and female bones are the same size.
yep. exactly what u said.
all i noe is that i have big hips, but then again, some gurls have no hips.... so i guess that depends on your body type?
i agree with lady luck
