Does your period do this too?

Okay... so I get my period and its usually really heavy for 2 to 3 days. Then on the 3rd or 4th day its gone...completely gone for about 24 hours. Then it returns the next day (with a vengence!) and then tapers off for the next few days. Anyone else have this weird pause in the middle? What is that? Why does that happen?Does your period do this too?
mine does the same thing light for 2 days very heavy for 3 days light for 1 then nothing for 1 day then medium to 1 day then i'm finished and it has been like that for atleast 10 years.
Not myself, but i know people that do. Its generally pretty normal everybodies different. Mine tend to start quite heavy then get lighter and hang around for what feels like days on end, sometimes lasting for up to 12 days.

i had that once too!
That happened to me during a time when I was much heavier (weightwise) and had "a" period lasting about seven months. I don't know if it's related or not, the weight, but I lost about twenty pounds and it stopped doing that, but still came heavy when it came. I've lost twenty more since then and it doesn't do anything weird at all now.
That doesn`t sound right to me. I can see the heavy for 2-3 days..then taper off ..that`s normal. But then to return 24 hrs.later?? naw..i`d get that looked at.
I almost have that, after 24 hours mine comes back but very light, have you asked your doctor about this? You may want to.
The same thing happens to me sometimes, too. I'm not sure what it is or why it does that. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to be concerned about.
