i had an epidural about 9 weeks ago during my baby's birth, and since since then my back hurts from time to time also by my right kidney, i feel burning especially when i'm driving. this is bothering me because the pain is sharp sometimes.Does your back hurt after an epidural?
I guess it just depends on a womans body. I get back pains in the same area and its been 2 1/2 yrs since then. If you are really worried than I would go and see a doctor. Hope this helps.
You should not be having any residual effects due to the epidural at this point in time. See your regular physician.
I never had pain afterward- see your doctor about it. They could have hit a nerve or something. Or it could be something else...
I had an epidural 13 years ago and it still burns and hurts.
I've never heard that before. Next time you take your baby to the doctor, be sure to ask her.
I've not heard of an epidural causing back pain. During labor your baby may have knocked something out of alignment (this is very very common), try seeing a chiropractor. I've known many women that it worked wonders for!
I would go and talk to your doctor, i had a epidural when i had my kids and i don't remember anything like that happening to me so i would definitely go to my doctor and tell him what you have been going through and he/she would be able to tell you if there is something wrong or not.
I've had several epidurals for back problems. And you naturally feel pain for a couple days. Since, you are describing a protracted period of time and symptoms I've never been told would occur. Please see you doctor.
