During a period is it normal to have a golf ball size clot?
No, absolutely not normal. You need to get in with your doctor today.
Also, if it is bright red, you are having cramping with it, or you feel more weak than usual... these things add to the problem.
Clots should never be over the size of a nickle. Anything larger than that isnt safe.
WOW! Thought I had some big ones. I would get in touch with your gyno about golf ball size clots. Mine are usually a little larger than a quarter. I've always had heavy periods. Has this just started with you?
no this is not normal. You should see your gyno, you might have fibroids.
is there any chance that you could have been pregnant? because big clots can often be due to miscarriages, even though you never knew you where pregnant.
Go to your doctor! I had excessive clotting and an extremely heavy period and they FINALLY determined that I had fibroids, polyps and a great deal of inflammation after a DNC was done to stop the bleeding after 23 days. Now I am scheduled for a hysterectomy the end of this month because of all the issues. And to top it all off - I'm only almost 30!
